A sea excursion from Kastri to Vasilika with the Aegean background. Areas are available in this area for the freelance or organized camper. Organized campsites are vailable in Pefki, Vasilika and Ellinika. The whole coastal area however is available for the adventurous camper under the shade of the pine trees.

Modern day explorers can hike through the pine filled islands of Pontikonisi as well as the group of islets of Mirmigonisia (Ant islands).

This pine filled coastal area offers exceptional sandy beaches and rocky havens. These hard to reach sights are a challenge for those who attempt to get there via small boats or larger crafts. Surprises will be offered to the fishermen at heart, filling everyone’s travel pouches. The best point for fishing enthusiasts is probably a shallower one where Pontikonisi faces Skiathos.
Almost every year, in the beginning of the summer season, we have the migration of squid (kalamari), it is very exciting since it is an evening sea event. Evenmore, for the more extravagant amateur fishermen, the waters towards Skiathos are perfect for catching swordfish.
If you’re lucky, another surprise of these excellent coastal areas may be a meeting with a Monachus-Monachus seal that is protected in the sea park in Allonisos as well as Skaithos and Skopelos.
